
| Marco Aiello is a professor of Distributed Information Systems in the Institute of Mathematics and Computing Science of the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen (RuG) where he coordinate the Service Oriented Systems group (SOS) and the Distributed Systems and Software Engineering unit. His research interests lie in the fields of Distributed Systems, Service Oriented Computing and Spatial Reasoning. His research focuses on four main areas which are tied by the thread of space meant as spatial distribution of computation, spatial representation, and spatial reasoning. In particular, the fields of his research interests are Service-Oriented Computing, Domotics, Computer Vision, and Spatial Reasoning. He received a degree in Applied Mathematics in the Belarusian State University in 2002. His research interests cover the areas of service-oriented and distributed computing, particularly concerning automatic composition using AI planning and constraint propagation algorithms. She holds a Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (2006), and an MSc in Artificial Intelligence with distinction from the University of Edinburgh (2007). Her current research falls into the fields of Service Oriented Computing and Automated Planning. He did MSc (2007) degree in Information Technology from Aalbrog University Esberj, Denmark. He has worked May 2008 to October 2009 as a Scientific Researcher on FP7 SOCRATES project at IBBT (Interdisciplinary Institute for Broadband Technology) - PATS (Performance Analysis of Telecommunication Systems) in Antwerpen, Belgium. Since January 2010, he is a working as a Scientific Programmer with Prof. Marco Aiello in Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Groningen, Netherlands.
